The new German offshore windpark Borkum Riffgrund 2 has been installed by Jan de Nul some 40 km off the coast of Borkum. It consists of 56 Vestas wind turbines of 8.0 MW each, 450 MW in total. Jan de Nul installed all of the 36 bolted Monopile-Transition Piece foundations including scour protection and under strict regulations of the German authority BSH.
Eos Maritime consulted Jan de Nul during the preparations of the Installation Campaign by supplying key positions in the discplines Construction Management and Project Engineering.

EOS Maritime delivered the expertise required for the efficient and safe preparation of the installation of the 36 bolted MP-TP Foundations for the Borkum Rifgrund 2 project, using the Jackup Vole au Vent, an IHC Noise Mitigation System, incl a Double Big Bubble Curtain system
The expertise delivered consisted of Construction Management and Project Engineering services at the Contractor side of the project.
