BLIGH BANK 2
NORTH SEA, 35km OF OSTEND, BELGIUM
The new Belgian offshore windpark Bligh Bank 2 (also known as Nobelwind) has been installed by Jan de Nul some 46 km off the coast at Zeebrugge. It consists of 50 Vestas wind turbines of 3.3 MW each, 165 MW in total. The windpark was connected to the Belgian power grid through an export cable previously installed by Jan De Nul.
Eos Maritime consulted Jan de Nul in the Installation and Construction Management by supplying key positions in the workpackages Foundations and Secondary Works.

EOS Maritime delivered the expertise required for the efficient and safe installation of the 51 Foundations of the Bligh Bank 2 project, using the Jackup Vole au Vent (ex Vidar) under the most challenging soil conditions imaginable.
The expertise delivered consisted of Construction Management and Quality Management services at the Contractor side of the project.
